At Blaydon Pre School Nursery, children learn through play, guided by our experienced and qualified staff who support their growth and development. Located within Blaydon Youth and Community Centre, our nursery provides exceptional facilities, including a purpose-built nursery, a spacious sports hall and ample opportunities for outdoor play both in our dedicated play area and nearby Blaydon Nature Reserve.
We aim to be as flexible as possible to meet the needs of the family and children in our community. We welcome children from all backgrounds and can tailor the support and care we provide to meet different needs. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, we focus on creating a safe, nurturing, and respectful environment where every child can enjoy, grow, and thrive.

Session Times & Prices
Our nursery operates Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, during term time, offering both half-day and full-day sessions. You can choose from two half-day options:
Half Day Sessions: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm | £15 per session.
Half Day Sessions: 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm | £15 per session.
Full Day Session: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm | £30 per session
Additionally, we offer a breakfast club from 7:30 am to 9:00 am and an after-school club from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. For more details, see our Breakfast and After School Club pages.

Who Can Attend?
We welcome children of all abilities, aged 2-4 years, from diverse backgrounds. Each child receives individualized care, allowing us to meet different needs effectively. We offer spaces for:
Privately funded placements
Children aged 2 with a “Golden Ticket”
Funded places for children aged 3-4 years
Our inclusive approach ensures that all children can benefit from our supportive and nurturing environment.
