Blaydon Pre-School, based at Winlaton Family Hub, provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow, play, and learn. Our early years programme is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning, helping every child build confidence and take their first steps on their educational journey.
Alongside our preschool sessions, we offer a wider childcare programme, including after-school clubs and holiday activities for children aged 0 to 11. With a dedicated and caring team, we create supportive spaces that encourage friendships, personal development, and lifelong learning — giving children the best possible start.
Pre School
Discover our nurturing nursery for children aged 3 months to 4 years, where play-based learning supports growth and learning.
At Blaydon Pre-School, experienced staff provide a safe, child-focused environment for exploration and development.
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club serves children from St Mary & St Thomas Aquina Catholic Primary School aged 3 to 11. Open from 7:35 to 8:45 am, it offers a healthy breakfast and fun activities. Costing £6.50, it provides a welcoming start to their day, with flexible arrangements for families needing additional support.
After School
Blaydon Pre-School offers a fun, family-friendly After School Club for ages 3 to 11. Our qualified staff pick up children from local schools, providing engaging activities, free play, and a snack until 6 pm. The cost is £12 per session, including transport and snacks.
Holiday Club
Our Holiday Club provides engaging, flexible programs for ages 3 to 11 during school breaks. With Level 3 childcare staff, children enjoy varied activities indoors and outdoors, including weekly outings and themed weeks.
