Creating a Safe and Nurturing Space for Every Child
Our Childcare Program at Blaydon Youth and Community Centre, where we provide a nurturing, safe environment for children to grow, explore, and learn.
With a range of services from after-school clubs to holiday programs, we support children aged 3 to 11 with activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and personal development. Our dedicated team is committed to offering high-quality care that inspires confidence and lifelong learning in every child.
Pre School
Discover our nurturing nursery for children aged 2 to 4 years, where play-based learning supports growth and independence.
At Blaydon Pre School Nursery, experienced staff provide a safe, child-focused environment for exploration and development.
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club serves children aged 3 to 11 attending our nursery or nearby schools.
Open from 7:30 to 9:00 am, it offers a healthy breakfast, fun activities, and safe transport. Costing £6.50, it provides a welcoming start to their day, with flexible arrangements for families needing additional support.
After School
Blaydon Youth and Community Centre offers a fun, family-friendly After School Club for ages 3 to 11.
Our qualified staff pick up children from local schools, providing engaging activities, free play, and a light tea until 6 pm. The cost is £10 per session, including transport and snacks.
Holiday Club
Our Holiday Club provides engaging, flexible programs for ages 3 to 11 during school breaks. With Level 3 childcare staff, children enjoy varied activities indoors and outdoors.
Weekly outings to local attractions are also included. The club features a playroom, sports facilities, and nature walks, using mini-buses for easy transport to parks, beaches, and more.
Forestry School
Our Forestry School immerses children in nature, blending play with exploration.
Outdoor sessions encourage skill development, environmental connections, and hands-on activities that spark curiosity and resilience. Join us for adventures that inspire growth and a love for the outdoors.
