So who are the Blaydon YCC and when did it start?
Blaydon Youth and Community Centre, established in 1957, provides a safe and welcoming space for all ages to socialize, learn, and stay active.
Since moving to our Shibdon Road location in 2014, we’ve expanded our offerings with a versatile sports hall, social area, kitchen, multi-purpose rooms, a playroom, and an outdoor play area. We offer a variety of programs, from our Ofsted-rated preschool and after-school clubs to community activities for all ages.
Our dedicated staff and volunteers are committed to fostering a vibrant, inclusive community.
